Pretty
Penny Nigerians began about a year and a half ago thanks to the wonderful help from Dianne at Double Durango Farm. Our
family has been involved with horses for many years but have always loved these little goats and knew someday we would
get involved in the breed. Even
though our involvement with Nigerians has only been over the last few years we began with some of the best bloodlines in the
breed, such as Rosasharn, Caesar's Villa, Little Tots Estate, and Woodhaven Farms. Some of our main objectives
in our breeding program is to achieve excellent conformation and maintain high standards in dairy qualities. One of the
added fun benefits of the breed are all the wonderful colors these little guys can produce. It's always exciting
for the new kids to arrive and see their colors and patterns. We purchased
a beautiful Doe from Double Durango, Double Durango Morning Star "Cloe" and we are now expecting our first kids
out of Cloe who is by AGS Caesar's Villa LV Eric. Cloe was bred to "Ripken" Rosasharn SP Rip Van Winkle GA*s,
owned by Double Durango. As
luck would have it we attended our first ADGA sanctioned show in September 2009 and placed first in the Senior Yearling Doe
class. We had alot of help from some very nice people at the show and such a fun day. We hope to attend a few more shows
this year with some of our new Junior Does and Cloe of course!
